Tinotenda Hove – The Christian community in Masvingo is mourning the death of one of its most influential spiritual figures, Apostle Brian Mutangi, who passed away on October 28 at a local clinic.

Apostle Mutangi was widely known for his dedication to ministry and his long service with Covenant Faith Ministries before branching out to establish his own faith work. Those who knew him describe him as a man of vision, humility, and unwavering faith.

Senior Pastor John Mamutse, one of his long-time colleagues, expressed deep sorrow over the passing of the cleric.

“You have left a gap very difficult to fill up, my brother and Apostle,” Pastor Mamutse said. “You did your best in the space of time the Lord gave you and the specific purpose or assignment He gave you to do. Rest in peace, dedicated soldier of Christ.”

Many congregants in Masvingo have since paid tribute to the late Apostle, praising his commitment to uplifting others through prayer, teaching, and community outreach. Funeral arrangements are expected to be announced soon.
