Tinotenda Hove- Controversial businessman Wicknell Chivayo, who is known for his close proximity to President Emmerson Mnangagwa, has once again generated public debate after announcing yet another high-profile giveaway, this time rewarding comedian Frets Donzvo with a brand-new 2026 Toyota Fortuner GD6 2.4D and US$10,000 in cash.

In a social media post on Thursday, Chivayo praised Donzvo’s comedy before unveiling the expensive gift.

“Today I want to give FLOWERS to one of Zimbabwe’s finest comedians, FRETS DONZVO. My brother, your talent is simply OUTSTANDING.

From the way you dress, your facial expressions, your body language, your timing, and the way you deliver every single skit, munhu anototanga kuseka from the very first second. Before you even speak, you have already put smiles on our faces.

That is a rare gift, and I genuinely appreciate you for using it to bring joy into our lives,” Chivayo wrote.
He said the comedian’s skits had become part of his daily routine.

“The truth is, almost every morning when I wake up, I find myself looking for your pages just to have a good laugh before I start my day.

Your skits have become part of my daily routine because they lift my spirit and remind me that laughter is one of God’s greatest medicines. It would be unfair for me to continue enjoying your incredible work without publicly saying THANK YOU,” he said.

Chivayo then announced the reward, writing: “Congratulations to you. Please go and see Madzibaba Chipaga on Monday and collect a BRAND-NEW 2026 TOYOTA FORTUNER GD6 2.4D. You will also get 10 thousand USD cash for fuel. You have earned my respect through consistency, originality, and hard work.”
