Wicknell Chivayo Donates Brand New Motor Vehicle To Jah Prayzah’s Mother

Tinotenda Hove- Controversial Zanu PF-linked businessman Wicknell Chivayo has announced that he has gifted a brand new vehicle to the mother of popular musician Jah Prayzah, born Mukudzei Mukombe.


In a public statement shared last week, Chivayo said the gesture was meant to honour the musician’s mother, Amai Shirley Danai Mukombe, whom he credited for playing a crucial role in raising the award-winning artist.


“Vanofanira kutendwa NGAVATENDWE. Today I wish to celebrate the UNSUNG HEROES we often forget. It is with the greatest HONOUR that I wish to congratulate our special Mum – AMAI SHIRLEY DANAI MUKOMBE, the mother of Jah Prayzah, who played a very PIVOTAL role in the upbringing of an INTERNATIONAL music sensation,” Chivayo said.


He added that although many people celebrate the musician’s achievements, few recognise the influence of his mother.


“While the world today CELEBRATES Jah Prayzah, behind this GLOBAL SUPERSTAR stands a mother whose prayers and VALUES moulded the man we all admire today.

Tinokutendai VACHIHERA, Seke Mutema, Vhuramayi, nekuti zvarira CHIPO CHIKURU and for teaching our musical GENIUS the ways of love and CULTURAL PRIDE which is very evident in his music,” he wrote.


As part of the gesture, Chivayo said he had purchased a 2026 Toyota Fortuner 2.8 GD6 4×4 valued at US$78,000 for the musician’s mother.


“In appreciation of your role as an EXCEPTIONAL MOTHER to a musician we celebrate GLOBALLY, please go and see Victor and collect your brand spanking new 2026 TOYOTA FORTUNER 2,8 GD6 4X4, worth US$78,000. Your car has been fully paid for and is now ready for collection. I kindly request your son JAH PRAYZAH to accompany you to go and collect this car. In addition, you will also get US$20,000 deposited into your bank account for fuel and pocket money,” he said.


He concluded by expressing gratitude and well wishes to her, saying, “Tinokutendai VACHIHERA, and may God bless you abundantly and beyond your expectations.”
