Controversial tenderpreneur Wicknell Chivayo has made a public statement regarding a robbery that occurred at the residence of his in-laws, Lulu Muteke’s parents, in Marondera. The incident took place in the early hours of 18th March 2025.
According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police, a case of armed robbery is under investigation, involving 20 suspects who unlawfully gained access to the Alpha and Omega Farm and stole a significant amount of money and valuable items. Chivayo strongly condemned the criminal act, calling it cowardly, and appealed to the public to assist the police in identifying and apprehending the offenders.
To aid in the investigation, Chivayo is offering a USD 100,000 cash reward for credible information leading to the identification and arrest of any or all of the robbers. The reward is being offered on a “no questions asked” basis, provided that the culprits are identified and apprehended.
“I strongly condemn such cowardly criminal conduct and kindly request the public to cooperate with the police by providing any information that could lead to the identification and arrest of these offenders,” Chivayo said.
