Tinotenda Hove – Police in Harare have arrested Luckman Kamangile (27), a Honda Fit driver, in connection with the death of passenger Amos Karumba (40) following a dispute in Ruwa on 19 November 2025.

According to police, Karumba had boarded Kamangile’s vehicle from the George area to Walter Mukamba and paid US$1 for the trip. A disagreement reportedly broke out over ZiG 20 change, during which the suspect allegedly assaulted the passenger. Karumba later died at home.

In a separate incident in Masvingo, police arrested Kainos Masekesa (32) after a domestic dispute on 20 November 2025 at Mackyey Compound in Mkwasine. The altercation reportedly led to the death of his wife, Trish Sithembile Masaiti (20).

Police urged the public to seek peaceful ways of resolving disputes and to report conflicts before they escalate.
