Tinotenda Hove – Unconfirmed reports suggest that ZANU PF Chegutu councillor Gift Konjana has been discovered deceased.

According to information circulating from multiple sources, Konjana—who had been missing since late February 2026—was found dead after weeks of uncertainty surrounding his whereabouts.

Konjana previously contested in the 2018 elections as an MDC Alliance candidate before later aligning with ZANU PF.

His disappearance had raised concern among family members, who filed a missing person’s report at Pfupajena Police Station and had been actively searching for him.

News of his alleged death has also been spreading on social media, including through a WhatsApp message shared in a group known as Alaska Legends, where Konjana was reportedly a member.
