Tinotenda Hove – Citizens leader Nelson Chamisa on Thursday shared a message of renewed hope, using the image of a tree regrowing after being cut down to illustrate resilience and recovery.

In a brief statement, he said, “Cut down, yet it rises, stronger each time. Razed to the ground, yet it rises, and springs forth again. #FreshStart #Godisinit”.

Chamisa’s remarks come in the wake of widespread criticism, as he sought to reassure supporters and project a message of perseverance and renewal.
