Tinotenda Hove -The Zimbabwe Handball Federation (ZHF), in partnership with the International Handball Federation (IHF), has announced the upcoming Beach Handball Festival to be held in Binga from December 6 to 7, 2025.

The highly anticipated event — powered by Mama Susan — is set to attract handball clubs from across Zimbabwe and beyond, with guest teams from Zambia expected to participate.

In a statement, the federation said the festival is open to all local clubs, encouraging wide participation to promote the growth of beach handball in the country.

“The Beach Handball Festival is part of our efforts to expand the game beyond the traditional indoor format and bring sporting excitement to communities along the Zambezi,” said a spokesperson for the ZHF Beach Handball Commission.

The event will not only showcase competitive matches but also serve as a platform for regional collaboration and talent development within Southern Africa.
