Tinotenda Hove – Masvingo United have dismissed head coach Tonganai Mugeji following the team’s failure to secure promotion to the Premier Soccer League in the recently concluded Pacific Storm Eastern Region Division One campaign.

The decision comes just two weeks after the end of the season, in which Masvingo United narrowly missed out on promotion.

Mugeji, who gained public attention last month after breaking down in tears following a 1-0 loss to eventual champions Hunters FC, leaves the club after an emotional and challenging season.
