By Entertainment Writer – Young Zimdancehall artiste Master Pretory, born Tendai Madzikanda, is set to release his latest album, “Hurombo Huroi”, in October as he continues his quest to break into the international music scene.
The rising musician, who is based in Gutu, Masvingo, has been building his career from a rural environment, demonstrating his determination to pursue music and reach a wider audience despite operating away from Zimbabwe’s major entertainment centres.
Master Pretory previously released an album titled “Year of Happiness”, while most of his other work has been released as singles.
Speaking about his musical journey and upcoming project, Master Pretory said he currently has one album to his name, with his other releases mainly being singles.
“MaAlbum ndine 1, mamwe angori maSingles. Then ndine randakanyora randoda kuzobudisa muna October,” he said.
The young musician revealed that his upcoming album will be titled “Hurombo Huroi”, following his earlier project, “Year of Happiness”.
“Randakambobudisa rainzi Year of Happiness, then ririkuuya rinonzi Hurombo Huroi,” Master Pretory said.
The October release is expected to mark another important step in his growing musical career as he seeks to establish himself beyond the local Zimdancehall scene.
Despite being based in Gutu, Master Pretory is determined to use his music to reach audiences beyond Zimbabwe, with global stardom remaining one of his major ambitions.
