Tinotenda Hove- The family of 38-year-old Celani Zungu is calling for justice after he was killed in a tragic incident involving a water tanker in Adams Mission, KwaZulu-Natal, on Monday.
According to reports, Zungu attempted to stop the tanker from delivering water to a single household, arguing that the scarce water supply should instead be distributed among the broader community.
The confrontation ended in tragedy when the tanker allegedly ran over Zungu, resulting in his death. The incident has sparked outrage, with grieving relatives demanding a full investigation and accountability for those responsible.
The case has also renewed concerns over ongoing water shortages in the area, where access to clean water remains a major challenge for many residents. Authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
