Tinotenda Hove – Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) Ministries founder Prophet Walter Magaya appeared at the Harare Magistrates Court on Monday following his arrest over the weekend on allegations of rape and fraud.
Magaya, one of Zimbabwe’s most prominent religious figures, was taken into custody on Saturday after police confirmed a coordinated operation leading to his arrest. While full details of the charges have not yet been disclosed, court officials said he is expected to face multiple counts linked to the allegations.
The case has sparked widespread public interest, drawing large crowds and extensive media coverage outside the courthouse as observers await further developments.
Police have indicated that more information will be made available once investigations are complete and the formal charges are read in court.
