By A Correspondent – Zulu monarch King Misuzulu kaZwelithini has commended President Emmerson Mnangagwa for the warm reception he received during his visit to Zimbabwe, describing the hospitality as a reflection of the close ties between the two neighbouring nations.
The King expressed appreciation to President Mnangagwa for the welcome accorded to him and his delegation, saying the visit had further strengthened the relationship between Zimbabwe and South Africa.
He also voiced optimism about expanding cooperation between the two countries, noting that the existing bilateral relations provide a solid foundation for deeper collaboration in various sectors.
King Misuzulu further stressed the importance of African nations working together to solve the continent’s challenges, saying lasting solutions should be driven by Africans themselves rather than relying on outside interventions.
He said stronger unity and cooperation among African countries would help advance peace, development and shared prosperity across the continent
