Tinotenda Hove – The Zimbabwean arts community has been plunged into deep sorrow following the passing of veteran actress Memory Bususu, who has died at the age of 71.


Bususu, revered for her exceptional talent and versatility, became a household name through her memorable performances in iconic local television dramas such as Paraffin, Pfuma Ye Nhaka, and Ngozi. Her commanding presence on screen earned her admiration from audiences across the country, cementing her status as one of Zimbabwe’s most respected actresses.


Her journey in the entertainment industry dates back to the 1970s in Highfield, where she began her career in commercial productions under the mentorship of Canaan Patterson.
