Tinotenda Hove – The number of people killed in Tuesday’s devastating bus accident along the Harare–Nyamapanda Highway has risen to 17, following the deaths of three additional passengers at Mutoko District Hospital.

The ill-fated BRD Luxury Coach, which had 63 passengers on board, was travelling from Cape Town to Malawi when it overturned under circumstances that are still being investigated.

Authorities are yet to release full details surrounding the cause of the crash, as concerns grow over road safety on one of the country’s busiest routes.
