By A Correspondent – Fresh turmoil is reportedly brewing within Zanu PF’s Manicaland structures, with Provincial Chairperson Tawanda Mukodza and his executive team facing mounting pressure over allegations of disloyalty and controversial conduct.

Multiple party sources claim that friction within the province erupted during a Provincial Coordinating Committee (PCC) meeting at the weekend, where sharp divisions allegedly exposed deep cracks in the leadership.

“There are increasing calls for the dissolution of the Manicaland provincial leadership due to a number of allegations that have been raised,” a senior party member revealed, declining to be named.

Insiders allege that some officials are pushing for the provincial leadership to be disbanded, accusing it of actions seen as undermining President Emmerson Mnangagwa and the party’s central command. The accusations have reportedly intensified internal lobbying efforts, with some members seeking intervention from higher party organs.

Sources further indicate that the issue could soon be referred to senior Zanu PF structures for review, amid talk of possible disciplinary measures targeting certain members of the provincial executive.
Efforts to obtain a comment from Mukodza were unsuccessful at the time of publication.
