By A Correspondent – A two-storey section of Lalani Hotel in Bulawayo was razed after fire broke out shortly after midnight.

Chief Fire Officer Mhlangano Moyo confirmed the incident and said crews responded to contain the flames. No casualties were recorded.

The extent of damage to the wing is significant, though the rest of the hotel was unaffected.

Authorities have launched a probe to determine what sparked the blaze.
