Tinotenda Hove – Masvingo Teachers’ College is in mourning following the death of veteran lecturer Mrs Nhambure, who was laid to rest on Tuesday.

The college described her as one of its longest-serving and most respected educators, remembered for her dedication to students and staff.

In a statement, Masvingo Teachers’ College said:
“Today we buried to rest one of our long serving distinct lecturer and mother, Mrs Nhambure. As a college we lost one of us and we shall forever cherish her good works and we shall move forward the legacy she left. Continue to Rest in Peace.”

Colleagues recalled Mrs Nhambure’s years of service shaping generations of teachers who now work in schools across the country. Her passing leaves a void at the institution, but staff say they are committed to upholding the values and work ethic she instilled.

The college community has sent condolences to her family, with many students past and present also sharing tributes online.
