By Staff Writer — In January 2025, before the Premier Soccer League (PSL) season even kicked off, a young Masvingo-based clergyman made a bold prophecy — that league debutants Scottland FC would be crowned Zimbabwe’s soccer champions.

Now, that prophecy appears to have been fulfilled.

The man behind the prophecy is Prophet Lovemore Chevure of Prophetic Grace International Church, who says the unfolding events are proof of divine revelation.

“As per God’s prophecy I made in January 2025, that Scottland FC will be crowned PSL champions at the end of the season, you are now seeing for yourself that the prophecy is about to be fulfilled,” said Prophet Chevure.

“With only a few games to go, the picture is already clear. All the prophecies we made at the start of the year are being fulfilled. Some of us might not be popular, but God speaks through us.

“I also prophesy that the club will perform well in continental football competitions, including the CAF Champions League. Given a chance, I would like to attend one of their matches and pray for the team in their dressing room,” he added.

Scottland FC, bankrolled by businessman Scot Sakupwanya, are on the brink of making history as the season draws to a close.

They currently lead 2024 PSL champions Simba Bhora by six points — sitting on 62 points, while Simba trail behind with 56.
