HARARE – Daughters of Virtue Founder and Visionary Prophetess Memory Matimbire has attributed the success of the Mega 8 All-Night Prayer held at the Glamis Arena to God’s wisdom, not her own.

Speaking after the event, which drew an estimated 40,000 congregants, Prophetess Matimbire said the overwhelming turnout and spiritual impact were a testimony of divine guidance.

“Let me be just with this issue. I don’t want to do this with my own understanding and limit God,” she said. “I came in weakness and fear, not with human wisdom but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power.”

She cited 1 Corinthians 2:1–10, emphasizing that true wisdom and revelation come only from God. “There are things hidden from us that are only revealed by the Spirit of God. The Bible says these are things no eye has seen or ear has heard,” she added.

Prophetess Matimbire promised that Mega 9, to be held next year, will surpass the previous event in scale and spiritual depth. “What I’m promising for Mega 9, basing my faith on Christ Jesus, is that we are believing for what has never been heard or seen before,” she said.

The Mega 8 All-Night Prayer featured powerful ministration from Nigerian preachers Apostle Michael Orokpo and Pastor Isaac Oyedepo, alongside local leaders Pastor Tom Deuschle, Bishop Never Muparutsa, and Prophetess Matimbire herself.

Renowned gospel artists including Ebuka Songs, Minister GUC, Dorcas Moyo, and Takesure Zamar also led worship sessions that kept the crowd on its feet throughout the night.

Reflecting on the night’s success, Prophetess Matimbire said, “The Bible promises that God moves us from one glory to another. We have seen what He did at Mega 8 — we never dreamed of it, but He made it possible for us.”

She concluded by declaring that Mega 9 will be “a manifestation of things that have not been seen or heard before — something truly unbelievable.”

The Mega All-Night Prayer, organized annually by Daughters of Virtue under the Hebron Art of Prayer International Ministries, has become one of Zimbabwe’s most anticipated spiritual gatherings.
