Harare– Prominent clergyman and leader of the PHD Ministries, Prophet Walter Magaya, was granted bail set at US$3,000 by the High Court this morning.

The bail ruling comes after Magaya’s recent arrest where he was arrested by detectives as he was leaving court soon after he made an application for refusal of further remand on previous rape allegations before Harare magistrate Jessie Kufa.

 He had appeared before Harare magistrate Fadzai Mtombeni, facing four new counts of rape.
