Sports Correspondent| A 21-year-old Brazil football supporter from Kushtia has been found dead in what police believe was an apparent suicide following Brazil’s World Cup defeat to Norway.
According to family members, the young labourer had been deeply affected by Brazil’s exit from the tournament and was also struggling with taunts from rival football fans after the loss.

The deceased leaves behind a two-month-old child.

Police said the family did not lodge a formal complaint, and after completing the necessary legal procedures, the body was released to relatives for burial.

The incident was highlighted by a Brazilian journalist, who shared details of the case in a Facebook post on Monday.
