Tinotenda Hove – Former Zanu PF Youth League Political Commissar Godfrey Tsenengamu has stirred social media after hinting that he is eager to return to the ruling party, despite his dramatic expulsion five years ago.
In a playful yet revealing message posted on Friday, Tsenengamu wrote: “Mudhara ndiri kudzoka kuzoyamwa 🤣🤣 munotswinya henyu nzeve but ndichiyamwa,” which translates to, “Old man, I’m coming back to suckle again. You can twist my ear if you want, but I’ll still suckle.”
The remark has been interpreted by many as a symbolic statement of repentance and a signal that the outspoken politician may be seeking reconciliation with Zanu PF.
Tsenengamu was expelled from the party in 2020 after the Zanu PF leadership accused him of “intransigence and continued disparaging of senior party members.”
Known for his vocal criticism of corruption and internal party politics, Tsenengamu’s sudden soft tone has surprised observers, suggesting that he may be attempting to realign himself with the political establishment he once defied.
