By Isaac Makomichi– In Zimbabwean politics where many blow with the wind, one man has remained rooted like a baobab tree — Temba Mliswa.

Long before it was fashionable to stand with President Emmerson Mnangagwa, Temba Mliswa stood there. When others were dining with the G40 cabal and plotting against the First Family, Mliswa was shouting from rooftops that the rightful heir to the liberation legacy was ED.

He paid the price. He was isolated. He was insulted. He was pushed out. But he never sold out.

This is a man who knows the meaning of loyalty. When the First Family was under siege from the G40 network that wanted to destroy ZANU-PF from within, Mliswa did not hide. He stood on podiums, and on every platform to defend the Mnangagwa family and the future of the Second Republic.

Many joined the ED train in November 2017 when it was safe. Mliswa was there when it was dangerous. That is the difference between a follower and a principled hero.

Today, even as an independent, his heart remains with the revolution. He defends President Mnangagwa against opposition attacks. He defends the First Family against lies and propaganda. He does not do it for a position, a tender, or a car. He does it because he believes — that ED is the only man who can take Zimbabwe to 2030

Zimbabwe needs more men like Temba Mliswa. Men who are not afraid to speak the truth. Men whose loyalty is not for sale. Men who stood with the President not when it was profitable, but when it was painful.

History will remember him not as a rebel, but as a principled hero — the man who stood with ED and the First Family for decades.
