By A Correspondent – The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) have confirmed the arrest of a woman following a disturbing video circulating on social media showing two women brutally assaulting a naked woman over alleged infidelity.

In a statement released on Saturday, the police said the incident occurred in Uzumba-Maramba-Pfungwe on 20 February 2026.

“Tambudzai Manjera, aged 24, has since been arrested in connection with this case,” the statement read. Authorities added that her accomplice, Tanaka Manjera, aged 22, remains at large.

The ZRP assured the public that investigations are ongoing. “More information will follow in due course,” the statement said.

The incident has sparked widespread outrage on social media, with many condemning the violent attack and calling for swift justice against those responsible.
