Tinotenda Hove – Citizens’ leader Advocate Nelson Chamisa on Tuesday opened up about his decision to walk away from the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC), describing it as a difficult but necessary step.

In a statement, Chamisa said his departure only became clearer after taking time to reflect.

“The truth speaks last. Sometimes clarity only comes after you step away. Walking away from CCC wasn’t easy, but it was necessary,” he said.

Chamisa expressed gratitude for what he described as divine guidance throughout the process.

“I’m grateful to the Lord for His steady, faithful guidance through it all and every step of the way. It was the right decision, no regrets,” he added.

He emphasized that his move was guided by faith and conviction.“When God leads, you move with conviction,” Chamisa said, adding the hashtags “#Godisinit” and “#FreshStart” to signal a new chapter.
