Tinotenda Hove – The killing of Kudzai Weston Saruwaka has been revealed by his brother, Trevor Saruwaka, who says the young activist was shot dead in South Africa.

In a social media post on Saturday, Trevor attributed the killing to what he described as political actors and linked the incident to recent events surrounding the GEZA Revolution.

“The political thugs have assassinated my young brother, Kudzai Weston Saruwaka, of the GEZA REVOLUTION only a day after the death of Cde Blessed Bombshell Geza,” Trevor said.
He described his brother as a committed member of the Blessed Geza Revolution and said his death should be viewed as a sacrifice for the country’s freedom.

“You are a martyr who has paid the ultimate price for the freedom of Zimbabwe. The cause is still there so the struggle shall continue,” he said.

Trevor ended his message with a tribute to his brother, adding, “Rest in power Nyere.”
According to Trevor, Kudzai Saruwaka was a key figure within the Blessed Geza Revolution.

No official confirmation or details regarding the shooting have been released by authorities, with all information so far coming from statements made by his brother.
