Tinotenda Hove – The number of people killed in the Guruve murder case has risen to 25, Zimbabwe Republic Police national spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed on Thursday.

Police said investigations are still underway to establish the full circumstances surrounding the killings. The probe is also examining allegations of rape and attempted murder linked to the case.

Authorities are further seeking to determine whether the main suspect, Anymore Zvitsva, acted alone or had accomplices, as well as whether there was any tampering with the bodies of the victims.

Commissioner Nyathi said police will provide updates as investigations progress.
