Masvingo City Bids Farewell To Parking Marshal Rashirai With Full Council Support

Tinotenda Hove – The family of the late Masvingo City Parking Marshal, Augustine Rashirai, 30, will collect his body from Nyaradzo Funeral Services today at 2pm ahead of burial tomorrow.

According to council officials, a brief memorial service will be held in Runyararo West near Gomba shops this afternoon. From there, the cortege will leave for Madembo homestead near Bondolfi Teachers College at 5pm.

Masvingo City Council confirmed the funeral programme. Council spokesperson said burial is set for 11am tomorrow.

The local authority has pledged full assistance for the funeral. Support provided includes a coffin, hearse, US$1,000 cash, tents, and a bus to transport mourners to the burial site.

Rashirai, who served as a parking marshal for the city, will be laid to rest at the family homestead in Madembo.
