By A Correspondent- An eight-month-old baby girl has died after suffering severe burns when she pulled a bucket filled with hot water over herself at a house in Epworth, Harare.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed that the tragic incident occurred on October 21, 2026, when the infant reportedly crawled towards the bucket and pulled it over herself.

The baby sustained serious burns and was rushed to Sally Mugabe Hospital, where she was admitted for treatment.

However, despite receiving medical attention, the infant died on October 24, 2026.
In reporting the incident, the ZRP expressed sadness over the death, highlighting the tragic consequences of the accident.
