Tinotenda Hove – Zimbabwean opposition leader Job Sikhala made his first appearance in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Monday morning following his dramatic arrest last week after explosives were reportedly found in his car.
The former St Mary’s MP appeared before the court as investigations continue into how the explosives ended up in his vehicle. Authorities say the matter remains under active inquiry.
During the brief session, the magistrate confirmed that Sikhala will remain in custody until Wednesday, when his bail hearing is scheduled to take place. The development has drawn significant attention from political observers and supporters, who are closely watching the unfolding case.
