This past week saw a spirited opposition to Constitutional Amendment Bill No.3 by some progressive opposition MPs such as Agency Gumbo, Ropafadzo Makumire, Lynette Karenyi Kore among others.
However, we also witnessed unashamed acts of betrayal, particularly by some opposition MPs who endorsed this evil bill.
Indeed, every struggle has its own Morris Nyathis as we saw from the likes of Budiriro North MP, Susan Matsunga, who is now singing ZANU PF hymns as far as the bill is concerned.
Surely, there must be a price for selling out the struggle for thirty pieces of silver.
During the liberation struggle, sellouts would pay the ultimate price for betraying the revolution.
While we do not condone violence, surely there must be a price to pay for selfish idiots like Sengezo Tshabangu and Matsunga who betray the masses in pursuit of money and cars from Wicknell Chivhayo.
MPs (both from ruling party and opposition) who are supporting this bill have not only betrayed the masses who gave them a five-year mandate but also thousands who sacrificed their limp and lives during the liberation struggle for one man, one vote principle.
It must not be easy for sellouts to roam around the streets cash and cars from Chivhayo- proceeds of corruption, while the masses are surviving on less than a dollar per day.
There must be affirmative repossession of all proceeds of selling out by the masses.
Surely, the likes of Tshabangu and Matsunga can not have their cake and eat it too.
By any means necessary, CAB3 must be stopped. Both the puppets and their handlers have to face the wrath of long suffering Zimbabweans.
The nonsense has to stop!
