Leadership is measured by the ability to listen to the people and courageously represent their views in decision-making spaces. Hon. Martin Mureri has demonstrated such leadership through his unwavering commitment to the residents of Masvingo Urban.

During the recent parliamentary discussions on CAB 3, Hon. Mureri stood firmly with the people he represents. He carried the voices, concerns, and aspirations of ordinary residents into Parliament, ensuring that the position of Masvingo Urban was clearly heard. As residents, we made our views known that we do not support CAB 3, and Hon. Mureri faithfully presented that position before the nation.

At a time when many leaders choose silence, Hon. Mureri chose to stand with the people. He recognized that his duty as a Member of Parliament is not to speak for himself but to amplify the voices of the citizens who entrusted him with their vote. His presentation reflected the concerns raised by residents and demonstrated his commitment to participatory democracy and accountable representation.
