Section 59 of the Constitution of Zimbabwe is clear.
It guarantees every citizen the right to demonstrate and to present petitions — peacefully and lawfully.
This is not a privilege.
It is a constitutional right.
At a time when citizens are being denied meaningful participation in processes that affect the future of their country, it becomes even more important to return to the Constitution itself — not as a document of words, but as a living instrument of citizen power.
Our path forward is therefore grounded firmly in the law.
We will organise — not outside the Constitution, but within it.
We will act — not through disorder, but through peaceful and structured engagement.
We will assert — not through confrontation, but through constitutional participation.
This is how democracy is defended.
This is how citizens reclaim their voice.
Let it be understood:
The Constitution is not suspended.
It is active.
And it belongs to the people.
