By Reverend Givemore Chare -Let us stop sugar-coating it. When political power uses cars, handouts and favours to manufacture loyalty, it is patronage and manipulation.
And when the Church accepts those favours, stays silent, and protects the powerful while the poor suffer, the Church is not merely looking away, it is helping legitimise the very system Jesus commanded us to confront.
Munoiverenga sei Luke 4: 18ff. Luke 4:18–19 is a manifesto against oppression, not a licence to dine at the table of power.
Vafundisi ne church stop trading your prophetic voice for political crumbs. Stop blessing injustice because the price is attractive. Stop choosing comfort over truth.
The Church must stand with the oppressed, confront the oppressor, and speak truth to power, whatever the cost.
