By A Correspondent|President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s Special Advisor, Paul Tungwarara, says he will not stop using helicopters following the death of businessman Wicknell Chivayo in a helicopter crash.
Speaking on Sunday, Tungwarara said he was on his way to Mberengwa when he made the remarks.
“We are flying to Mberengwa. People have been bringing various prophecies and warnings, telling us to stop using helicopters as our mode of transport because our dear brother, Sir Wicknell Chivayo, perished in a helicopter crash,” he said.
He said fear would not stop him from flying.
“However, I am not going to stop flying in helicopters out of fear of the unknown. None of us will escape this life alive. We should never live in fear of death as if we were immortal, all mortals must die,” Tungwarara declared.
He added that continuing to fly was a way of honouring the late businessman.
“We will continue to fly in helicopters to honor Sir Wicknell Chivayo,” he said.
