By A Correspondent- A TV Sales manager in Masvingo has been granted bail by the court following his arrest over allegations that he defrauded the furniture company of US$200,000 and spent the money on Chindege, a betting game also known as Aviator.

According to Mid-Week Watch, the manager is accused of misappropriating the substantial sum belonging to his employer before allegedly losing the money through betting.

The court’s decision to grant him bail allows him to remain out of custody while the case proceeds through the judicial system. Being granted bail does not amount to an acquittal, and the allegations against him are yet to be proven in court.

The case has drawn attention to the alleged misuse of company funds and the financial risks associated with gambling.

The manager remains presumed innocent unless proven guilty in the court of law.
