By A Correspondent -A Nigerian man has reportedly been arrested in Vosloorus after allegedly using counterfeit currency to settle a lobola payment worth R90 000.
According to Limpopo Newspaper, the incident occurred over the weekend when the man allegedly presented the money as payment during lobola negotiations.
The discovery that the cash was allegedly fake led to his apprehension, with the circumstances surrounding the incident now expected to be investigated by authorities.
The case has attracted attention because of the unusual circumstances surrounding the traditional marriage payment.
