Tinotenda Hove – The widow of the late Nkulumane MP, Desire Moyo, Ester Zitha, successfully filed his nomination papers as an independent candidate during the Nomination Court session held at Tradegold Magistrates Court in Bulawayo on Thursday. She will contest in the Nkulumane Parliamentary by-election scheduled for 20 December 2025, seeking to replace her late husband.

The Nomination Court for the Nkulumane Constituency by-election officially closed with nine candidates successfully submitting their papers. Those cleared to contest are:

• Fuzwayo Mbuso (Independent)
• Jele Rodney (Independent)
• Moyo Alson (EFF)
• Murechu Freedom (ZANU PF)
• Ncube Malaba Nompilo (ZANC)
• Ndlovu Muthusi (CCC)
• Sibanda Ethel (MDC-T)
• Siziba Vivian (ZAPU)
• Zitha Ester Excellia (Independent)

The by-election is set to take place on 20 December 2025.
