How does a 22 year old side chick of President Mnangagwa’s son own properties worth 10 million US dollars?

Fellow Zimbabweans, this is a question lingering in the minds of all right thinking citizens. This past week, Collins Mnangagwa’s 22 year old mistress, Kelsea Tafirenyika, was re arrested shortly after her release from remand prison. On top of charges relating to dealing in dangerous drugs, Mnangagwa’s daughter in law is facing charges of money laundering involving more than 10 million US dollars.

Yes, dear reader, you heard correctly. 10 million US dollars for a 22 year old whose only qualification is being a mistress to one of Mnangagwa’s twin sons.

The infighting, accusations, and counter accusations between the Mnangagwas, as epitomised by the First Lady Auxilia Mnangagwa and her estranged daughter in law Kelsea, have opened a can of worms on how the Mnangagwas are looting the country dry.

The Mnangagwas, Zimbabwe’s New BSAC!

In 1889, a British imperialist, Cecil John Rhodes, secured the Royal Charter, a document that entitled him and his company, the British South Africa Company (BSAC), to have direct control of the land north of the Limpopo on behalf of the British Crown.

The company, which had a Loot Committee, committed what some historians termed a colossal stroke of thievery or a stock exchange swindle. They controlled millions of acres of land, minerals, and mining rights, on top of a large herd of cattle looted from Africans.

Company rule in Southern Rhodesia was marked by capitalistic extraction, looting, forced labour, and exploitation of Africans.

Forty-six years after independence, Zimbabwe is faced with a similar situation in the form of Mnangagwa’s so-called Second Republic. After removing Robert Mugabe via a coup in 2017, Mnangagwa’s coup plotters told the nation that they were targeting criminals surrounding the Presidency.

Ironically, Mnangagwa, his family, and his inner circle of cartels like Wicknell Chivhayo and Kudakwashe Tagwirei, who are now running the show, have proved to be the real criminals occupying the President’s Office.

Named by Al Jazeera’s Gold Mafia documentary as the kingpin of gold smuggling and money laundering, Mnangagwa has proved to be the archbishop of corruption and looting in this country.

We are in trouble, fellow Zimbabweans, if we do not act now. We must stop Mnangagwa before he turns our country into a personal property like what Rhodes did with BSAC.
