Tinotenda Hove- President Emmerson Mnangagwa has sworn in Senator Dr Kudakwashe Tagwirei as Minister of Economic Development and Investment Promotion at State House in Harare.

Vice President Constantino Chiwenga did not attend the swearing-in ceremony, adding to attention surrounding his absence from high-profile events involving the President’s allies.

Chiwenga also did not attend the funeral of controversial businessman Wicknell Chivayo, raising further questions about his absence from the two events.

However, there has been no official explanation provided for Chiwenga’s absence from either occasion, and it remains unclear whether the two incidents are connected.
