Tinotenda Hove- Masvingo Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Ezra Chadzamira has declared that President Emmerson Mnangagwa will remain in power until donkeys grow horns.

Chadzamira made the remarks on Thursday at the burial of ZANU PF councillor Junior Charumbira in Sikato.

“Mnangagwa will rule until donkeys grow horns, that is if donkeys will ever grow horns. You just wake up after being embraced by your wife and you say you want to take over power, never,” Chadzamira said.

He also delivered a warning to those seeking to challenge the current leadership.

“Zvenyu zvekuti madziirwa nemadzimai enyu mumachira, mouya mohumana,” he said.

Chadzamira said there is only one centre of power in the country.

“Zimbabwe has one President and one centre of power,” Chadzamira said.

He added, “Hakuna zuva rinobuda rimwe ririko.”

The burial was attended by party supporters and government officials who had gathered to pay their last respects to the late councillor.
