Tinotenda Hove – Citizens leader Advocate Nelson Chamisa issued a statement on Thursday mourning the passing of Venencia Mufuka.

“A citizen heroine…Today, we lay to rest one of our loyal, brave, and trusted cadres in Rushinga. Gogo Nyambesi (Venencia Mufuka) stood firmly for the cause of change and fought tirelessly for a New Zimbabwe for everyone…without fear, without compromise, and with unwavering courage,” Chamisa said.

He added, “She remained committed to the citizens’ cause and to the vision of a just and democratic Zimbabwe until her final days. Rest in Power, Gogo!! Makarwa kurwa kwakanaka. Your sacrifice, resilience, and dedication will never be forgotten.”
