Tinotenda Hove – Last month, prominent philanthropist and community leader Vengai Chivaura played a key role in facilitating the burial of a respected change champion and human rights activist in Ward 4, Mhondoro-Mubaira, Chigiji Village.

Chivaura’s efforts ensured that the activist received a dignified farewell, highlighting his ongoing commitment to supporting community causes and standing up for social justice. Local residents praised his dedication, noting that his involvement brought much-needed coordination and resources during a difficult time.

“Vengai Chivaura has always been a pillar in our community,” one villager said. “His support in organising this burial shows that he continues to stand with those who fight for human rights and meaningful change.”
