Tinotenda Hove – A devastating road accident claimed the lives of a Zvishavane couple last night following a head-on collision between a Toyota Corolla and a commuter omnibus.

According to Zvishavane 24/7, the two popularly known as Mai Nisha and Baba Nisha, were travelling to Mimosa Mining Company when the fatal crash occurred.

The collision caused extensive damage to both vehicles, prompting an emergency response from the Zimbabwe Republic Police and the Fire Brigade. Due to the severity of the wreckage, rescue personnel had to use cutting equipment to free people trapped inside the vehicles.

Tragically, Mai Nisha and Baba Nisha were certified dead at the scene.
Authorities are yet to release official information regarding the condition or number of other passengers involved in the accident.

The sudden loss has left families, friends and the wider community shattered, as a young marriage was cut short in a moment of tragedy.
