UNITY DAY STATEMENT – 22 DECEMBER

Good morning, fellow Zimbabweans!

Today, we mark Unity Day, a day when ZAPU united with ZANU to form ZANU PF. But as we stand here, are we truly united?

The truth is, despite celebrating this day as a national holiday, our country remains divided. The Ndebele people and the Shonas are still apart, and it’s clear that it’s not the day that unites people, but leadership.

ZANU PF’s failed promises on this unity accord have led to:

  • Marginalization of certain communities
  • Unequal distribution of resources
  • Corruption and nepotism thriving

But FFC (Freedom Fighters for Change) says ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! 🚫 We’re calling for unity with a PURPOSE:

  • Let’s unite for JUSTICE for all Zimbabweans
  • Let’s fight for a BETTER ECONOMY that works for everyone
  • Let’s demand ZERO TOLERANCE for corruption

As your President, I promise that FFC government will:

  • Prioritize national unity and reconciliation
  • Address historical injustices and inequalities
  • Ensure equal opportunities for all Zimbabweans

Let’s unite for a brighter future! 🇿🇼

  • Michael Makaza
President, Freedom Fighters for Change (FFC)
