By A Correspondent – Flamboyant businessman and Nash Paints founder Tinashe Mutarisi has added academic muscle to his business success after graduating with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Women’s University in Africa.

Mutarisi was among hundreds of graduands who were capped at the institution’s 22nd graduation ceremony held this week in Harare.

The celebrated entrepreneur, known for building one of Zimbabwe’s most recognisable paint manufacturing brands from the ground up, now adds a prestigious postgraduate qualification to his vast business portfolio.

Sources close to the businessman said the MBA marks a new chapter in his quest to scale his business interests beyond Zimbabwe’s borders.

The Women’s University in Africa’s 22nd graduation ceremony drew captains of industry, academics and families celebrating the Class of 2026 under the theme of empowering leaders for Africa’s transformation.

Mutarisi’s graduation comes at a time when the businessman has been diversifying his investments across manufacturing, property and retail.

He joins a growing list of Zimbabwean business leaders returning to the classroom to sharpen their leadership and strategic management skills.
