Tagwirei Ministerial Appointment: When A Wolf Becomes A Shepherd

By Tafadzwa Munjanja- After extending his misrule via Constitutional Amendment Act No.3 (CAA3), the dictator is stopping at nothing in his quest to create a corrupt system that only serves his parochial interests.

This past week, Emmerson Mnangagwa confirmed the completion of state capture by ‘Zvigananda’ (cartels) by announcing Queen Bee (Kudakwashe Tagwirei) as a Minister of Economic Development and Investment Promotion.

Yes, a whole new ministry was created for Tagwirei!

In the dynamics of Mnangagwa’s looting scheme, this is a necessary move to ensure smooth looting and plunder of national resources by Tagwirei wearing executive powers that come along by being a Cabinet Minister.

Even Tagwirei, by his own admission, jokingly but confirmed that he is a “Minister for ED” at some so-called Presidential Ball dinner held at Hippodrome, Braeside in Harare over the weekend.

Inside the Second Republic, everything revolves around Emmerson Mnangagwa, hence a pattern of organisations that ends with a suffix “ED” on almost everything.

From Young Women for “ED” to Teachers for “ED” and now Minister for “ED”, it’s all about Trabablas in Zimbabwe! Never make a mistake, “ED” is not for Economic Development as they want us to believe, but it’s for Emmerson Dambudzo.

When A Wolf Becomes the Shepherd

Tagwirei’s appointment as Minister of Economic Development is littered with irony.

How does a man who a few years ago was named as the most corrupt person by The Sentinel report become a Minister of Economic Development? What economic development can the nation expect from a cartels Queen Bee responsible for fancincial illicit flows that robbed the nation so many billions of dollars over the past few years?

How does a man who was mentioned as the kingpin of gold smuggling and money laundering in Al Jazeera’s Gold Mafia documentary ends up being a Minister of Economic Development?

From Command Agriculture to Treasury Bills scandals, Tagwirei stinks with corruption!

Appointing a man responsible for the country’s economic destruction to be a Minister of Economic Development is akin to giving a wolf shepherding roles over the flock.

It confirms our long-held view that Mnangagwa’s is the godfather of cartels.

The capture is now complete, but resistance is now must fellow Zimbabweans!
