In a letter addressed to Chifamba, ZKF President Tarirai Chadebah confirmed the appointment, citing her experience, leadership qualities, and demonstrated commitment to the growth of korfball in Zimbabwe as key factors in the decision.
Chifamba will assume a strategic leadership role encompassing oversight of partnerships, governance frameworks, and programme development and implementation, aligned with the Federation’s vision, mission, and objectives.
The Federation expressed confidence that Chifamba’s expertise would significantly contribute to strengthening the sport at local, regional, and international levels.
She is expected to provide leadership in advancing the Federation’s governance structures while driving programme delivery across the country.
