Tinotenda Hove- Zanu PF loyalist Cde Walle has argued that Sonja Madzikanda, the ex-wife of the late controversial businessman Wicknell Chivayo, deserved recognition during tributes to the deceased, saying she gave birth to two children with him.

Walle made the remarks on Friday, urging Chivayo’s family to maintain a cordial relationship with Sonja following the businessman’s death and work together to ensure the welfare of the children.

He suggested that Sonja should have been acknowledged during the speech delivered by Gsix, arguing that despite the differences she may have had with Chivayo while he was alive, her contribution to his family deserved appreciation.

“Pabhaizika hapo, Sonja was supposed to be mentioned wo even ka one pa speech ya Gsix. We understand they had their differences arimupenyu Wicknell but Sonja akaitira Wicknell two beautiful kids, that alone deserves a thank you maiguru Sonja,” Walle said.

He further appealed to Gsix and other members of Chivayo’s family to maintain a good relationship with Sonja and cooperate in raising the children.

“Ikozvino Wicknell is gone, imi mukoma Gsix samusarapavana munofanira kuva in good books na Sonja kut mubatsirane kuchengeta vana avo,” he said.

Walle also called for unity among Sonja, her children and Chivayo’s relatives, including Ferg, Pharaoh and Gsix, arguing that the children’s welfare should take precedence over any family disagreements.

“NOW THAT WICKNELL IS GONE, SONJA NANA BAMNN VAKE ANA FERG, PHAROAH, GSIX ETC ngavachiwirirana for the sake of the kids,” he said.

Addressing speculation surrounding Gsix’s speech, Walle dismissed suggestions that the young man was attempting to position himself to inherit Chivayo’s wealth.
“Pane varikuti Gsix speech yake yanga iri yekuda kutora hupfumi hwa Sir haa you are all wrong,” he said.

Walle argued that Gsix was already financially comfortable and did not need to fight over his late relative’s wealth, adding that he owned expensive vehicles, including Rolls-Royces.

“The guy is rich already, ane ma Rolls-Royce ake worth thousands, vakabatana anotobatsirawo pakuchengeta vana vamukoma vake,” he said.

His remarks come amid discussions about family relationships, recognition and the responsibilities facing Chivayo’s relatives following the businessman’s death, with Walle urging them to put the children’s interests first.
